ECO is educates and counsels on trauma and its effects. Understanding how trauma is defined and the how various types of yield different remedies and treatments is key to healing. This workshop teaches how to understand the characteristics of how care can be most effective when the provider is trauma-informed and how it differs from care that is not informed by trauma. All licensed Counselors/Professionals are licensed by the ADRA (Addictive Regulatory Authorities; guidelines by the Federal and State laws governing Substance Abuse and Mental Health credentials.
All curriculums are approved through Department of Health & Hospitals (Health Standards Section) We utilize/implement evidenced based programs
Curricula/Models utilized by our facility are: The Twelve Steps (12) of Alcoholics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Hazelden, SAMSHA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, (CSAT, Matrix Model, NCADA (National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse), National Association for (NACOA), Children of Alcoholics ( NCADI, NCADD (National Council on Alcohol and Drug Dependence, Strengthening Families Program, HiSET, Steck-Vaughn, Harcourt Achieve, GED 212st Century.
After an Assessment/Evaluation is conducted then it is determined what course of treatment is beneficial for that client. All programs are administered by video/DVD, workbook exercises, peer feedback, individual, group and family counseling sessions, etc.
