MISSION
The mission of Eternal Crisis Outreach (ECO) is to support, educate and provide services to treat and empower persons living with challenges of Substance Use and Mental Health disorders and their families.
We accomplish our mission through the provision of mental health and substance abuse clinical treatment and support such as intake and assessment services, individual and group counseling, case management, temporary emergency housing, prescription medication assistance and other community support services.
VISION
The ECO vision is to provide culturally competent, holistic, and wellness-focused services that promote social and emotional development while promoting a substance use free environment, and the further development or onset of Mental Health challenges.
PURPOSE
Our PURPOSE is to empower the recovering individual with tools in which to seek supportive services designed to enhance their quality of life, secure employment and return to their families as self-sufficient and encouraged individuals.
ECO spreads the message that Behavioral Health is essential to overall health while assisting the public in recognizing Mental Health issues to empower persons to seek help before these challenges reach “crisis” status.
Certifications
Eternal Crisis Outreach has been a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in good standing with the Secretary of State since 1995. We also have a Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certification authrorized by the Louisiana Department of Health.
We are partners with the Mayor’s ReCast Baton Rouge program and Louisiana Children’s Trust Fund. We are Medicaid providers with AmeriHealth Caritas, Healthy Blue, Louisiana Healthcare Connections, Aetna, and Humana.

All licensed Counselors/Professionals are licensed by the ADRA (Addictive Regulatory Authorities; guidelines by the Federal and State laws governing Substance Abuse and Mental Health credentials.
Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse & Mental Health, Crisis Intervention, & Wrap Around Services
To promote a healthy community and reduce the harmful effects associated with alcohol and drug use, while providing treatment services to alcohol and drug dependent individuals who are seeking recovery and support. Our purpose and passion is to empower the recovering individual to accept full responsibility for his/her own sobriety. It is our goal to help each client learn the skills that will make long-term abstinence from alcohol and other drugs possible. We want to empower the recovering individual to seek education, supportive services designed to enhance their quality of life, secure employment, return to their families and encourage them toward self-sufficiency. We will stand by integrity, accountability and commitment to the community.
After an Assessment/Evaluation is conducted then it is determined what course of treatment is beneficial for that client. All programs are administered by video/DVD, workbook exercises, peer feedback, individual, group and family counseling sessions, etc.
